Back in 1982, my mom, stepdad, brother, sister, and I were driving down State Route 665 (also known as U.F.O. Highway 665). It was during summer on a clear-skied, middle of a beautiful day when I said "look, what's that, what's that!" We all saw this metallic disc with rotating lights around the center darting here and there very rapidly.

Then it would just stop and hover...move a little this way, circles, up and down, and changing speeds a lot. My stepdad pulled the van over and stopped. Then we all watched this object do all of the above for what seemed like 20 minutes....The U.F.O. was playing with us...going all around our van…My family and I just sat there astonished...not even saying a word to one another…As soon as we got home I went to my room and thought about how it could fly so fast without mashing the people inside?...like a ride at a park...some of them go so fast that you struggle to move your body due to the negative and positive G forces occurring.

Why didn't it make any noise was also perplexing to me. My stepdad was a pilot and I flew with him in a Cessna airplane a lot so I knew about G forces and engine sounds of a flying object...So I decided to draw what I had seen, being an artist, and to explain how I thought it could fly...This turned into the picture I drew called "WHEN I JUST 14" (later reworked in PhotoShop).
